A range of
high purity, fully or partially stabilised yttria zirconia
powders, for use as electrolytes and anodes in SOFC systems, is
now in production at our new Manchester facility. The range contains
sinter-active, sub-micron powders which, when fired, produce dense,
non-porous layers. A coarser grade is available XZO1076/03 which
is designed to give more porosity within gas permeable layers.
Also available is a range of nano-sized, high purity yttria stabilised
zirconias in aqueous dispersion. Stabiliser contents are available
at 3Y (XZO1356/01),
5Y (XZO1357/01),
8Y and 10Y. A range of ceria-stabilised zirconia powders for fuel
processing catalysts is also available. These have controlled particle
size, redox properties and surface chemistry, which can be fine-tuned
for use in reforming. |
